Hello Maryview Families! I'm Aarin Huseby and I am one of the Grade 4 teachers here at Maryview School. I have been teaching in the Red Deer Catholic division for my entire 10+ years (give or take a few maternity leaves). I grew up North of Edmonton on an acreage outside of Vimy, AB, and my parents (and true home) are now west of Edmonton on an acreage outside of Sangudo, AB. I moved to Red Deer after graduating with my Elementary Education degree from U of A.My husband is also a teacher in our division and we have three young kids, and the cutest, fluffiest Lhasa Apso pup named Mops. Our winter's are busy with hockey for my hubby and oldest son, Rhett, and dance for our daughter, Harper. Our youngest son, Bennett, has been so excited to join everyone on the ski hill when we get a chance to head out to the slopes on the weekends or during holidays. Our calendar is just a wee bit full in the winter months! We spend the majority of our summers camping and in the mountains with family and friends.
I'm looking forward to seeing more familiar faces around the school this year. It is such a privilege to spend my days with the littles in our school, and I'm looking forward to another amazing year!
