Each May, parents are encouraged to volunteer for the council. Generally, school council meets once a month and provides valuable input into the operation of the school.
A number of committees form School Council and each provides specialized services. These include School Policy and Planning, Room Representatives, Fundraising, Projects and Communication. Adhoc committees are formed as the need arises and disbanded at the completion of an activity or project.
The council provides an important fundraising function and each year identifies fundraising plans. The council is instrumental in providing various services and fundraising activities.
All parents are welcome to attend meetings and work on project committees.
